Handmade Christmas ornaments: a house, tree, and Christmas present

Hi everyone,Ā MouĀ here with a tutorial to make handmadeĀ Christmas ornaments using Gelatos and Pitt Artist PensĀ®! Let me list the supplies before I show you how to make these ornaments with basic tools and supplies.

Recommended Art Supplies:

Faber-Castell Gelatos:

Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens:

Other - cardstock, thread, trimmer, scissors, pencil, glue

Paper cut in the shape of a tree, house, and Christmas present

Start by trimming 4x4 inches squares out of white cardstock, six pieces for each ornament.

Fold squares in halves. Draw a tree, a gift box and a house with a pencil. Cut out with scissors.

Using the first piece as a template, cut the other five pieces for each ornament design.

Cut about three pieces of thread or twine, each to 6 inches.Ā 

With glue, attach the matching design pieces back to back. Before attaching the last piece, fold the thread in half and place between the previous and final piece to make a loop.

Gelatos and Christmas tree ornament

Color the tree ornament with Mango, Comet and Satellite Gelatos colors. Blend with water.

Christmas tree ornament and Pitt Artist Pen

Once dry, make marks on the tree ornament with theĀ Permanent Green Olive PittĀ Artist Pen.

Color the gift box ornament with Mars, Odyssey and Gold Champagne Gelatos colors.

Add details to the ornament with the Pale Geranium Lake and Gold Pitt Artist Pens.

Color the house ornament with Odyssey and Aqua Dolce Gelatos.

Add details with the Gold and Black Pitt Artist Pens.
