Pitt Artist Pen® Extra Superfine - #199 Black - #FC567099
Scissors
Watercolor paper
Â
I made a light pencil sketch of a turkey using my Grip 2001 Graphite Pencil.
Â
I started by coloring the turkey’s tail feathers with a mix of red and brown watercolor paints.Â
Next, I added color to the bird’s body with browns, sepia and a touch of red violet.
Â
I added some more layers of paint to bulk up the turkey.
Â
Once the base layer of paints dried, I continued to add the details with Pan watercolor paints.
I cut the turkey out with scissors.
I cut a speech bubble out of scrap watercolor paper and wrote a note on it for my daughter who is vegan.
I hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial and would add some personal touches to your Thanksgiving table or décor with Watercolors in Pans or other favorite Faber-Castell tools!
