Watercolor Acorn Tutorial

Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with a tutorial on how to draw an acorn tea infuser using the Faber-Castell Watercolor Palette. I am a collector of little novelty items that I love to draw such as this acorn tea infuser.

Recommended Materials:

Castell 9000 Graphite Pencil HB

Kneadable Art Eraser - Grey - #FC127220

Watercolor Palette, Set of 48 - #169748

Paint brushes

Watercolor paper

Make a quick and light sketch of the acorn tea infuser with Castell 9000 Graphite HB Pencil.

Wet the body of the acorn with brush dipped in water. Drop in 183 Light Yellow Ochre from the Watercolor Palette set of 48. Layer on more 183 Light Yellow Ochre to create dimension for the acorn.

Color the acorn cap with 178 Nougat. Drop in a second layer of the same paint to add dimension.

Paint the holes of the infuser with 172 Earth Green.

Create patterns on the cap with 172 Earth Green to finish.
