Rub the Gelatos colors generously onto the natural wood rounds.
Blend the colors smoothly with minimum amount of water using a paint brush. Let dry.
Once each wood piece is completely dry, write Holiday messages on them using Pitt Artist Pens in various colors and tips.
I wrote my favorite lyrics from Handel’s Messiah – ‘Glory to God’ using White 101, 1.5 bullet tip on wood round colored with Nebula; ‘Peace on Earth’ using Cobalt Turquoise 153 B tip on wood round colored with
Metallic Icing; and ‘Goodwill toward Men’ using Dark Sepia 175 C tip on wood round colored with Gold Champagne.
Embellish the ornaments with simple dots using White 101 and Metallic Gold 250Â Pitt Artist Pens in bullet tip to finish.
I hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial with Gelatos and Pitt Artist Pens to create these Holiday Ornaments. Happy Holidays to all who celebrate the season!
