Daily Sketching Tutorial with Pitt Artist Pens
Hi everyone, Mou Saha here with a simple daily drawing tutorial using Pitt Artist Pen. When it comes to a daily practice, I like to keep it super simple and minimalistic – one pencil, eraser and my favorite black pen – the Pitt Artist Pen with an extra superfine tip and permanent rich black India ink. This pen works great both for writing and drawing and does not bleed through even light weight drawing grade paper. I have made a complete materials list for you.
Materials:
Kneadable Art Eraser - Grey - #127220
Pitt Artist Pen® Extra Superfine - #199 Black - #567099
Notebook
With the Goldfaber Graphite Pencil HB, make a light sketch of anything you wish to document for your daily notebook entry. I chose a microscope that I ordered online for my daughter.
Trace the pencil outlines with a black extra superfine Pitt Artist Pen.
Use the Pitt Artist Pen to add details. Erase pencil lines.
Draw a speech bubble near the top and write the listing details of the item with the same Pitt Artist Pen.
Add the date of purchase and price of the item. These little details add interest to the entry.
Next, write the story behind the item, also with the Pitt Artist Pen
If there’s any space left on the page unintentionally, feel free to add more details. I added a few accessories that are part of this microscope kit. The whole idea is to document small things from everyday life and to practice a little drawing each day.
I hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial with Pitt Artist Pens. Try drawing something – anything daily. Make it quick and keep it simple. It’s hard to keep up with elaborate and complicated things in the long term! Nothing has to be perfect, just enjoy the process of mindful drawing every day!
